Privacy policy and processing of personal data

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in force since May 25, 2018, establishes the rules regarding the protection and processing of personal data and applies directly to all entities that process such data, in any Member State of the European Union.
At  Cinebox,  our customers are always our top priority, so it is essential that their data and privacy are always assured. In this sense, we have prepared the Privacy Policy in full compliance with the GDPR.

Cinebox is the entity responsible for processing personal data. By providing your personal data, you are agreeing to its collection and processing, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. The information collected from its visitors is maintained in accordance with this Privacy Policy so that we can ensure that all personal information is handled carefully, namely the information we collect and how we use it.

 

Data collected

When visiting our website, you do not need to provide any personal information. We only collect personal data (name, email, telephone number) through our contact form, voluntarily provided by visitors, for commercial purposes, namely to send campaigns and promotions, news, quotes or respond to queries and requests for information.
Additionally, and only if the commercial proposal is approved, we may also request the tax number, name, telephone number and email of the contact person and billing address.
As the data subject, you have the right to access, rectify and delete data at any time, expressly expressing your wish in the following ways:
* By email, sent to castelobranco@cinebox.pt ;
* By telephone contact to  +351 272 092 722  (call to a national landline);
* By letter, addressed to Rua Conde de Areães nº 40 – 2.º Dtº, 5300-114 Bragança; 

 

Purpose
Cinebox  collects personal data on its website for the purposes of  commercial proposals (quotes). As well as other commercial interactions previously mentioned.
In the case of email, consent may also be requested to send newsletters with our campaigns, promotions, news and other services.
Revocation may be carried out by communicating with one of our contacts described in the previous point.

 

Data storage duration
The data is kept as long as there is a commercial relationship between  Cinebox  and the data subject. If there is no commercial relationship, the data will be stored for 10 years in our systems.

 

Data recipients
Cinebox is the sole entity responsible for processing personal data collected under this Privacy Policy. Personal data will not be shared with external entities .

 

Rights of holders
Data subjects may access, rectify or request their definitive deletion by sending a written request to our contacts.
They may also make a formal complaint to the competent authority, which in Portugal is the CNPD (National Data Protection Commission). More information is available at the following link:  https://www.cnpd.pt .

 

Data security
Cinebox is concerned about protecting your personal data while using its website. To this end, it uses security and protection systems. It is, however, your responsibility to ensure that the computer you use is also protected against computer viruses and other harmful programs. The data is stored in a database with backup copies, duly protected and with restricted access. Communications between the data subject and our website, where the data is collected, are encrypted using the secure HTTPS protocol.
